Employee Councils
Employee Councils are a powerful tool for Georgia Power's leadership to demonstrate its commitment to diversity. These Employee Councils give a voice to the very people who are impacted most by the organization's ability to manage diversity.
Georgia Power currently has nearly 30 active Employee Councils across the state. Each council is made up of a group of people charged with guiding their organization's diversity and work environment efforts.
"Through Employee Councils, employees are actively engaged in the company's strategy to achieve its business goals. This is one of the most effective ways Georgia Power can demonstrate its commitment to having a trusting and inclusive work environment."
Thomas Wicker - Region Vice President, Central (Macon)
